Ursa Minor

The constellation Ursa Minor is a constellation of the northern sky and is visible in Europe all year round as a circumpolar region of the sky.

Since the main star Alpha Ursae Minoris (α UMi) currently represents the Polar Star, more precisely: the North Polar Star, it was given the proper name Polaris.
