Tucana is a less prominent constellation in the southern sky. Only one of its stars is brighter than the 3rd magnitude. To the southeast are the striking Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC), a smaller companion galaxy of our Milky Way, and the globular cluster 47 Tucanae.
