Dalim (α Fornacis) is the brightest star in the constellation Fornax in the southern sky. It is about 45 light-years (ly) away and has an apparent magnitude of 3.85 mag.
It is the only star in the constellation Fornax with a apparent magnitude brighter 4.0 mag.
