β Camelopardalis is the brightest star in the constellation Camelopardalis with an apparent magnitude of 4.03 mag. Nevertheless, it only appears to the naked eye as a faint object.
According to new evaluations of the measurement results of the Gaia space probe published in December 2020, its distance from Earth is around 840 light years (ly).
