The constellation Fornax is an inconspicuous constellation in the southern sky, composed of faint stars. Only one star reaches the 3rd magnitude.
Fornax can only be seen fully from southern Germany, Austria or Switzerland (where it is low over the horizon in late autumn) and more southerly latitudes.
