Camelopardalis is a very extensive but unremarkable constellation in the northern sky. It is circumpolar and can therefore be observed all year round.
Between the prominent constellations Ursa Major and Cassiopeia, and the bright stars Polaris (in the constellation Ursa Minor) and Capella (in the constellation Auriga), there is a large area that contains no prominent stars. In this area extends Camelopardalis, which consists only of stars of the fourth, fifth or sixth magnitude.
